Cuando tengo que hacer un retrato, como en este caso, uso referencias fotográficas que copio del ojo-pantalla al papel, como quien copia de un modelo del natural. Es menos perfecto, pero tiene aspecto de dibujo y no de foto. Es cierto que si el cliente quiere algo muy real pues se tiene que ir al realismo, pero no soy muy fan de lo perfecto; siempre he estado en un término medio que puedo balancear de un lado al otro del realismo. Dejé mis estudios de Administración y Dirección de Empresas en la Facultad de Economicas de Oviedo (que cosas ¿no?) para hacer una prueba de acceso en la escuela de artes y oficios de Oviedo.<br />Recuerdo que en su momento el paso dado me pareció algo decisivo en mi vida y me hizo ilusión acceder a una de las pocas plazas que había para ilustración sin haber cursado previamente estudios de arte. Toda esa ilusión y ganas se fueron al traste cuando me encontre con un panorama similar al que describe este artículo. Ante la indignación y la total sensación de perdida de tiempo me puse a trabajar como ilustrador antes de terminar los estudios y pasé olímpicamente de sacarme el título, que según mi parecer no me hubiese servido para nada. </div>Afortunadamente en mi clase no solo conocí algunos amigos que mantengo, sino que también aprendimos unos de otros compartiendo proyectos e ilusiones a falta de un profesorado competente (se salvan pocos).<br /><div></div><br /><div>Recomiendo leer este artículo para que la gente sepa como se las gastan en ambos centros, el de Avilés y el de Oviedo. </div><br /><div>También le recomiendo a cualquier futuro ilustrador que quiera formarse en Asturias que no se plantee perder un solo minuto estudiando en estos centros. Una formación en programas de diseño del INEM y esperimentar por uno mismo como autodidacta son metodos infinitamente más efectivos y rápidos de obtener los conocimientos que nunca llegará a tener por medio de la titulación.</div><br /><div>Como anécdota puedo decir que en el segundo año en la clase de informática, aun se estaba enseñando a escanear documentos. Cuando me dio por preguntar una duda sobre photoshop a la profesora, esta me dio un manual sobre el programa para que me las arreglase.
